Glisten has brought its Dormen Foods, Snacks Unlimited and Lindum Foods businesses together under one umbrella to create a new savoury snacking division.

Dormen's premium nuts, WeightWatchers snacks and crisps made under licence, own-label savoury snacks and specialist travel snacks from Lindum Foods will now be overseen by David Collard in the new position of divisional MD.

Callard joined Glisten in December last year from Kerry Foods as MD for Dormen Foods. "The new division has enabled us to form an industry-leading team to continue the strong growth of the businesses and capitalise on the unique brand propositions we have," he said.

The commercial functions for Snacks Unlimited and Dormen Foods have been brought together as part of the new division.

Sales have been split between retail and foodservice, with Tom Cumiskey heading retail and Neil Goodwin foodservice.

The Dormen's and WeightWatchers brands are also being managed by a new marketing team. Fran Campbell, who joined in May from Kerry Foods, will develop customer insight and business strategy and Rosie Palmer, who joined in February from organic milk co-op OMSCo, is marketing manager.

Lindum Snacks will operate as an autonomous unit focusing on travel and headed by Robert Motley.
