Glisten, the niche food group, has reported a 33% increase in turnover from £15.6m to £20.8m for the year to 30 June 2004.
Profit for the company, which manufactures confectionery products such as chocolate-covered nuts and raisins, also recorded a pre-tax profit of £1.80m for the year, which is a 32% increase on 2003 at £1.36m.
The positive results were aided by recent acquisitions, including Sunya from Renshaw Scott and certain brand names and recipes of Penguin Confectionery.
