John Lusty Group has come to an agreement with Unilever Bestfoods for its Foodfinders division to market and distribute its newly revamped Scottish Go Organic range of pasta sauces and soups to the independent trade. This Scottish brand started small, selling into the ethical, organic trade and was acquired by UB in February 2001 in a bid to develop an organic range for the mass market. JLG also showcased a host of new ranges from around the world. These included: Sierra Rica, a premium range from Andalucia of organic chestnut, red pepper and gazpacho soups, cooking sauces and spreads. Also from Spain were Pan Castello toasted flavoured crispbakes in flavours that included garlic with oil and parsley, and pizza. They are to be launched on April 1. On the coffee front, launches included Master Café, a range of four canned coffees in tiramisu, Brazilian, Colombian and latte flavours. {{NEWS }}
