Jon Goldstone, marketing director for evening snacking at PepsiCo International-owned Walkers Snacks, has been promoted to the role of vice president of marketing.
He replaces Neil Campbell, who was promoted last month to the position of general manager of the newly formed Walkers business unit.
This followed a management shake up to reorganise PepsiCo’s UK and Ireland’s operations into three business units (The Grocer, July 23, p13). Goldstone has been with Walkers for five years, during which time he was responsible for the launch of Walkers Sensations and worked on the recent launch of Nobby’s.
Prior to Walkers, Goldstone held numerous marketing roles at Kraft Foods, Coca-Cola and Campbell’s.
In his new role he will be concentrating on Walkers Snacks’ brands Walkers, Tropicana and Quaker.
