Gü has developed two chocolate puds, one of them accompanied by board games, as the perfect antidote to soggy sprouts and charades at Christmas.

Its new Hot Chocolate Soufflé Party Puds come in a pack of eight that includes two board games to keep the family occupied.

Once they have eaten the desserts, consumers can either play Finger Tangle or Flick a Penny, using the reversible board.

For those looking for something a little more sophisticated, the company is also launching Boozy Choc 'n Roll Party Puds. Dressed in Elvis attire, the puddings are a boozy variation of the brand's Cheeky & Saucy Little Pots and come in three variants - B52, amaretto and rum - in 50g plastic shot glasses.

The Soufflés are being sold in Sainsbury's from early December, priced at £8.99, while the Boozy puds will be available through Waitrose and Ocado from late November at £5.49.

Gü's Posh Chocs are also returning to the multiples for the festive season.
