A wine range from Dracula country has hit the UK.

The La Umbra portfolio from Halewood Romania a subsidiary of Halewood International is in retailers now, and consists of a chardonnay, pinot grigio, merlot rosé, merlot and pinot noir variants.

The wines are made from handpicked grapes from vineyards in Dealu Mare, Murfatlar and Transylvania.

With its £5.99 price tag, the range would offer "highly commercial wines at a key price point," said Halewood Romania MD Dan Muntean.
