The average Brit tucks into more than 900 cooked breakfasts over a lifetime, according to research by Danish Bacon.

The survey of 3,000 people found that 53% had a cooked breakfast once month on average. One in five tucked into a fry-up at least once a week.

Three-quarters of people questioned said they tried to make their cooked breakfast healthier by grilling rather than frying the food.
