Harrods Food Halls is preparing to embark on a month-long promotion of Thai food in partnership with the Royal Thai Embassy.
Throughout May the iconic British retailer will stage fruit carving and Thai dancing demonstrations in a bid to drive sales of ingredients such as holy basil, Koi Choi flowers, banana leaves and Thai mango.
A sugar work creation will form the centrepiece of a window display designed to intrigue shoppers.
London Thai restaurants Patara and Blue Elephant are expected to join the celebrations by offering Harrods shoppers cooking tips throughout the month.
