Beam Global Spirits & Wine has launched the third addition to its Harveys brand this year, in an aggressive bid to shake up sherry.

Harveys Reserve is a rich, fragrant wine with a long lingering finish, according to Beam, made using sherries that date back to 1907.

In May this year Beam launched Harveys Fino, which marked its first addition to the portfolio in nine years. Then in August it launched the orange-flavoured Harveys Orange. Munro said the trio were "part of our plan to re-energise the sherry category, to make it fresh and exciting".

Harveys Reserve will be available from Sainsbury's next week, priced at £10.99.
