Baby and toddler food brand Ella’s Kitchen is today launching its first mainstream TV push.

The brand – which last month took the number one spot in The Grocer’s list of top-selling wet baby foods [Top Products Report 2012] – will be airing its ad on channels including ITV, Channel 4 and Five for the next five weeks. The creative features a selection of products from the brand, including pouch meals, snacks and the chilled products launched last year, and is designed to show how it offers food for a wide range of occasions throughout the day.

“We had a great 2012 and wanted to show the breadth of the range we now offer,” said Ella’s Kitchen founder Paul Lindley. “This activity fits in with our longer term plans for the coming year.”

The TV push will be supported by activity including digital media and in-store promotions.

Ella’s Kitchen has previously advertised on children’s TV channel Nickelodeon.
