A fortified drink for toddlers is kicking off a social media push after scoring a listing at Tesco.

Health beverage company I Mune claims its 200ml Nurture drink has the optimum daily amount of key ingredients two to five-year-olds need. The drink (rsp: £2.99/four-pack) has 100% natural beta-glucans, as well as vitamins B6, B9, B12, C, D and zinc, which contribute to the function of the immune system. Calcium and vitamin D were also included to aid growth and bone development, said I Mune.

The drink, which went on sale in 500 Tesco stores last month, is available in Strawberry & Cherry or Orange & Pineapple flavours.

Nurture has teamed up with medical nutritionist Dr Sarah Brewer to promote the product. “She is supporting the campaign with a social media Q&A on Parenting magazine’s Twitter feed, as well as offering mummy bloggers one-on-one telephone Q&As,” said a spokeswoman.
