Walkers now becomes the main competition and enters the chart as the highest new entry, at number two, although it does stand four percentage points behind Heinz.
The brand uses a combination of gondola ends and floor stacks to highlight the promotions in-store. They include multibuy offers and price promotions. Apart from the new entries, Birds Eye is the only brand to move up the chart.
It continues to support the frozen category.
The remainder of the chart is clearly dominated by new entries, of which there are six.
Quaker comes straight in at number three, making excellent use of the buy-one-get-one-free offer on Snack-a-Jacks and Sugar Puffs.
In the bottom half of the chart Andrex, McVitie’s, Kellogg’s and Coca-Cola are all new entries.
