Woodward will take on the expanded role next month as part of the company’s strategy to focus on accelerating growth in emerging markets.
As a result of Woodward’s appointment, Matt Hill will become chief commercial officer of the UK business.
Hill joined Heinz as chief marketing officer in August from Unilever where he spent 17 years in a variety of UK, European, and global marketing roles, most recently as global VP brand development for Knorr.
