Heinz has added a new range of kids' pasta meals to its canned portfolio to meet growing demand for new recipes from mums.
The five-strong Heinz Mini Meals range, available now, comprises Tomato & Veggie Pasta Shells, Ravioli in Chunky Tomato Sauce, Creamy Spaghetti Carbonara, BBQ Beanz & Mini Sausages and Chicken & Sweetcorn Pasta Spirals (rsp: 69p for 200g).
Positioned as a main meal, the range would add incremental sales to the canned category, said Heinz. Canned pasta was one of the top three products eaten by kids, it claimed.
