Pernod Ricard UK is raising the stakes in the wine market this winter with a £750,000 marketing campaign for the leading Australian brand Jacob's Creek. This is part of a consistent marketing plan for the brand which has been running for the last five years. General manager Ian Totman said the latest ACNielsen figures in the year to August showed the brand increasing volume sales by 22%, which compared favourably with the New World sector growing at 15% and the market as a whole up 6%. The campaign running in November and December will feature advertising in lifestyle magazines and national weekend supplements and 1,000 six- sheet posters in London. There will also be sponsored magazine advertorials. {{DRINKS }}
