Ever since the Brexit referendum last June, British growers have warned it is becoming increasingly hard to find seasonal workers to help harvest UK crops.

At a hearing of the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Efra) committee on Wednesday (8 February), asparagus grower Chris Chinn of Cobrey Farms explained to MPs just why labour supply was now a real struggle for his company.

    Poor Chris, feel for him. Well done all those farmers who voted to cut their own noses off. Good luck recruiting the fine folk of Boston to pick your crops. The ones who didn't want to pick them before Brexit. Yeah, them.
