Jam specialist Bonne Maman is strengthening its presence in chilled desserts with the introduction of a new Crème Brûlée line.

The move follows the producer’s decision to sell a range of crème caramel desserts for the first time last year. It also has Pot de Crèmes under its banner in chocolate, coffee and vanilla flavours. Rolling out now in packs of two 100g glass ramekin servings (rsp: 1.89), the new chilled Crème Brûlée line includes separate sachets of blended caramel and brown cane sugar so consumers can
add the traditional brûlée finishing touch themselves.

Sandra Sherratt, category marketing manager for Bonne Maman at distributor and importer Andros UK, said: “This strengthens our position in the chilled market and offers consumer a wider choice.”

Meanwhile, Bonne Maman is adding a new orange addition to its Light & Fruity range of high fruit, low sugar conserves, extending the range to seven.
