There was little change on the bacon markets this week.
Danish traders said conditions were similar, although demand had risen a little over the past week. One hoped business would remain steady until the end of August.
Dutch operators described the market as very firm with supply continuing to remain tight from the Netherlands, although demand and supply were going hand in hand.
On the British front, backs were firm, said traders, but a shortage of loins still persisted. Price differences between imported and home had also reduced slightly.
