Former MD of Eden Vale, Peter Humphreys, has become deputy chief executive of First Milk, the farmer-owned dairy co-op with 3,600 members.
Humphreys, who was most recently group chief executive of CeDo, a leading European manufacturer of disposable household products, has taken on a specific business development remit to help First Milk expand.
It recently acquired a 15% shareholding in Robert Wiseman Dairies.
First Milk chief executive John Duncan said: “Humphreys brings a new set of skills and approach to the business at an important time in our development.
He added: “His drive and knowledge, coupled with his proven international business development and strategic acquisition skills, will help to accelerate our ambitious growth plans.”
