Sales of Heinz Tomato Ketchup have topped £100m for the first time, cementing its position as the nation's favourite red sauce.

Figures from IRI indicate the brand clocked up sales of £100.1m, up 6%, in the past year [52 w/e to 3 November, 2007]. Of this, £4m came from additional sales from NPD such as Heinz Tomato Ketchup with a Twist and top-down versions of its organic and reduced-sugar and salt variants.
