Family affair over

Former Nike chief executive William Perez is the new president and chief executive of Wrigley, replacing Bill Wrigley Jr who has been appointed executive chairman and chairman of the board of directors. Perez's appointment marks the first time the chewing gum company has selected someone from outside of the Wrigley family for one of its top positions.

The Regional Food Group for Yorkshire and Humber, the organisation behind the Deliciouslyorkshire brand, has appointed Julia Shedden regional development manager for West Yorkshire and the Craven district. Former Somerfield chief executive Alan Smith and former Rentokil CEO James Wilde are to become non executive directors of the Navy, Army and Air Force Institute, replacing Alan Cole and Terry Morgan who have both retired after six years service.
