Sir Stuart Hampson, chairman of Waitrose's parent company the John Lewis Partnership, is to retire in March after nearly 14 years in the role. He will be replaced by Charlie Mayfield, currently managing director of John Lewis department stores.
Blueheath is looking for a new chief operating officer after Lynne Watts left the company on 31 December. She joined Blueheath in September 2004 from Cert Distributors.
James Foord has been appointed head of online marketing for Sainsbury's, replacing Claire Harper. He joins from Tesco where he worked for 11 years.
Brewis joins Allied
Allied Bakeries has named Martin Brewis as its new sales director. He has previously worked for Unilever and The Campbell Soup Company.
An Innocent man
Gareth Helm has been named marketing director for Innocent Drinks. Helm joins Innocent from Nestlé where he was marketing controller.
Kevin Havelock, the chairman of Unilever UK, has been appointed group vice president and president of Unilever US. Dave Lewis will succeed him as chairman of Unilever UK.
New IGD president
Alastair Sykes, chairman and chief executive of Nestlé UK and Ireland, is the new president of IGD, replacing David Reid, chairman of Tesco.
New sales director
Steve Brandwood is the new UK sales director at Laurent-Perrier. Brandwood has worked at the company for six years, most recently as national sales manager for the off-trade. He will be replaced by Benoit Gallienne.
