John Smith's and Aintree Racecourse have teamed up with 2006 Grand National winning jockey Niall Madden in a sponsorship to develop the brand's links with racing.

The brand has launched Dinner with a Touch of Theatre, where consumers nominate a restaurant that serves roast dinners with flair.

South African brand First Cape has launched its First Selection Shiraz Rosé into Sainsbury's, priced at £7.99 a bottle. It will go into Asda later in the year.
