A smoke-infused beer has been brewed to mark the English smoking ban on 1 July. Kent-based Westerham brewery has created Holy Smoke, a golden ale infused with smoked malt and spiced with bramling cross and gosling hops.
Discovery wines has launched a Californian white zinfandel exclusively to the independent trade. The wine is sourced from old vines in the Lodi region and will sell for £4.49.

African-inspired London Gin Whitley Neill will donate 5% of each bottle sold to Tree Aid, a charity working in some of the poorest villages in Africa.
Glayva goes long
Whyte & Mackay is pushing whisky liqueur brand Glayva as a long summer drink. The drink will be sampled at the Channel 4 Taste Festivals and will be linked with summer mixers in the off-trade promotions.
