Pasty 'from Devon'

A local historian in Devon says he has found evidence that the Cornish pasty comes from Devon. The first reference to a pasty in Devon occurs 200 years before it is mentioned in Cornwall, which may impact on Cornwall's efforts to protect the pasty under EU rules.
