Quota swap fury

Scottish fishermen are angry at what they are calling a betrayal by the government, which has swapped 375 tonnes of Scotland's langoustine quota for 150 tonnes of Dover sole quota from the Germans.

West Yorkshire butcher Jack Scaife has gone online at www.classicengland.co.uk to offer its traditional dry-cure bacon and ham products to expats. It says the move has boosted turnover by 20%.
