Shepherd Neame has created a limited-edition Spitfire Ale to help raise funds for the Help For Heroes charity. Sales will raise funds for those returning from war and bottles will be sent to those serving in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Brothers Cider has teamed up with Tunetribe.com to offer drinkers the chance to download music tracks for free. The on-pack promotion will run throughout this month and allows consumers to choose three tracks of their choice.
The London International Wine and Spirits Fair is going online in 2008 in a link-up with TastingBuddy, the wine list company. With more than 30,000 wines expected to be displayed at the event next May, the online list would allow visitors to pre-plan their visit to the show more effectively, claimed event organiser Brintex.
