Marc Bolland, Jonathan Warburton and Peter Kendall will be headlining a conference to discuss ways out of the recession for businesses with a farming connection.

The English Farming and Food Partnership's annual conference on 3 November, straplined Routes out of recession, features Morrisons boss Bolland discussing the balance between looking for value and respecting producers.

Warburton, the chairman of Warburtons, will talk about the role of quality ingredients in breadmaking, while NFU president Peter Kendall will give the farmers' view. The Grocer's editor Adam Leyland will host a Q&A session with Fresca chairman Chris Mack, McCain regional CEO Nick Vermont, Andrew Keeble of Debbie & Andrew's and Dairy Crest external affairs director Arthur Reeves. Other speakers include Defra minister Jim Fitzpatrick.
