Belgian brewer Interbrew said organic volume growth was 11% year-on-year with global volume of its Stella Artois lager up 9%, while Beck's beer jumped 19%.

Total volumes in the US were up18% led by Stella Artois, Beck's volumes grew above the average rate for imported beers on the back of its ‘Life Beckons’ ad campaign, the company said.

In Russia and the Ukraine, Interbrew said volume growth was “exceptional” but gave no details.

No information was given as to Interbrew’s performance in Europe.
