A mass picket of the depot of one of Israel's biggest exporters of fresh produce and flowers is being planned by the Boycott Israeli Goods campaign ahead of St Valentine's Day.

The Carmel Agrexco depot in Hayes is being targeted today by protesters in support of Palestinian farmers, whom they claim are unable to market their goods internationally.

It aims to draw attention to the company's sale of large amounts of fresh flowers from what it describes as "occupied Palestinian land".

Three previous blockades by the campaign, the latest in August and September 2006, were successful in stopping work at the depot.
