Magners continues to fuel its growth in the UK with the launch of the next phase of its seasonal TV ads.

The Irish cider brand will be advertised on ITV, Channel 4 and Five, with creatives following on from its spring and summer themed ads.

The autumn and winter versions again focus on an orchard, but this time use images of harvest-time and then snow, ending with a friendly pub scene. The autumn advert breaks next month, followed by the winter scene in December.

"We want to re-establish the brand as the number one in cider as there is a lot of competition out there. We also believe it is a year-round drink so we want to support this," said marketing director Maurice Breen.

The television schedule will be backed by an outdoor campaign with harvest-themed posters and radio advertising.

Breen said that the brand had been given a E30m investment for the British market for the year to February 2007.
