Napolina is launching a foil-wrapped focaccia bread for use as a starter, accompaniment or pizza base.
The bread is flavoured with rosemary, has a shelf life of nine months and can be oven baked in seven minutes. Presented in shelf-ready packaging, it has a recommended price of £1.29 for a 250g serving.
As part of its continuing innovation in ambient Italian food, the brand is also moving into fish with Italian anchovy fillets in olive oil, packed in a 90g glass jar (rsp: £2.29).
The fillets can be used as an antipasto, pizza topping, snack or in a salad and are aimed at increasing numbers of people who are trying to recreate genuine Italian food at home, according to the company.
