Coffee specialist Douwe Egberts is planning to extend distribution of two premium instant products to other multiples following a six-month trial in Tesco stores.
The two hot beverages sport names which are intended to communicate an emotional experience. Serenity is a medium roast coffee, while Intensity is a dark roast variety.
The products are said to aim at bridging the gap between fresh and instant, and give coffee drinkers something that combines a fresh coffee taste with the convenience of instant.
Packaging features a metallic finish and sports the brand's recently redesigned logo, which features a plume of steam.
A poster campaign carrying the strapline Surrender your senses' supported the brand outside selected Tesco stores earlier this year.
