Caxton Wines is planning a major push behind the red wines in its Jacob's Creek range. Recently it added a Cabernet Sauvignon to the Shiraz/Cabernet and the Grenache/Shiraz in the collection and it is going to support the three wines this autumn with a £1.4m campaign which includes regional TV advertising. The Top Drop TV ads were tested last year and their success has prompted a larger scale initiative in Carlton, Central and Tyne Tees. They will run for six weeks from the end of October. This will be supported by instore merchandising and a promotion to collect Jacob's Creek red wine glasses. A spokeswoman for Caxton said this will be the largest spend in two months for any wine brand. {{DRINKS }}
