Jam with no messin'

One of Britain's oldest jam makers is aiming to make the jam jar a thing of the past. F Duerr & Sons is launching Squeezers ­ a box of 20 individual 15g sticks which can be squeezed on to toast, crumpets, bread and desserts. On sale from early April, the boxes will retail at £1.05 and will be available at selected Sainsbury, Tesco and Morrisons stores. Two pack formats kick off the launch ­ strawberry and an assorted pack containing five sticks each of strawberry, raspberry, blackcurrant and apricot. Marketing director Richard Duerr said: "This takes the mess out of jam." {{P&P }}
