Jeyes Fluid is to make its TV advertising debut 130 years after the household brand’s launch.

The £500,000 campaign runs from now until 13 June and features a character dubbed Jim sharing cleaning tips from his shed. A series of videos with further tips are available from a new website.

“Jeyes Fluid is a much-loved heritage brand that has been passed down through the generations,” said brand innovation director Jayne Hazlewood.

“We wanted the campaign to bring that nostalgia and brand affection to life while reminding people of the wide range of cleaning jobs Jeyes Fluid can tackle.”
