Lasting Leaf backs Asda breast cancer campaign

Donations will be made for each pink pack that’s sold

Lasting Leaf has pledged to donate a minimum of £10,000 to breast cancer charities through Asda’s 2013 Tickled Pink campaign.

The salad brand will sell pink salad bags in Asda from 2 September, with a donation from each pack going to Breast Cancer Care and research charity Breast Cancer Campaign.

Last year, Lasting Leaf raised over £11,000 for Tickled Pink by selling the pink bags. This year, it has planned strong price promotions and extra gondola end space to drive sales and awareness.

Staff at brand owner Natures Way Foods will also wear pink clothing and bake pink cakes to raise funds at the three factories on 4 October.
