Britvic has launched a consultation on the shake-up of its GB sales force, revealed in The Grocer a fortnight ago.
The Pepsi bottler briefed staff on the proposals on Thursday. It confirmed its plans to work with third parties to service some customers.
“We identified that our current business model was overly complicated therefore, we are proposing a new structure and approach, which will see us partner with our customers directly or via key strategic intermediaries,” it said.
“We recognise that these proposals could have a negative impact on a number of our employees, and it is our absolute ambition to work on minimising job losses and to support all those affected.”
