Mars is giving consumers less of a mouthful from October 23, with the launch of 5 Little Ones ­ a pack of five miniature Mars bars. The bitesize bars sit end to end in a countline pack. They are aimed at impulse outlets and will be sited next to lighter countlines rather than with the hunger bars. The primary target is women. "Many women said they found the full size bar too much to handle in one go," said a spokeswoman. The brand has previously veered towards mansize' formats, including kingsize and Metre of Mars Christmas packs. A Dark and Gold version was available from May 2000 for eight weeks. {{P&P }}
