The range of confectionery, preserves, meat, fish, alcoholic and soft drinks, ice cream and herbs and relishes will initially be available in eight stores.
Budgens stores can place orders on a weekly basis in collaboration with marketing agency Tastes of Anglia.
Point of sale material with the Tastes of Anglia logo will highlight the products, which will be merchandised on gondola ends and within their categories.
Budgens marketing director Stephanie Rice said the Anglia initiative followed an experiment with a local range in Budgens in Hawkhurst, in Kent, which had been popular with customers.
She said: “People increasingly want to support their local community and to buy local and this is something we want to encourage as it makes sound commercial sense, too.”
Budgens’ locally sourced range is due to be extended as consumer awareness grows.
