A new range of premium Chinese tea that claims to support Chinese farmers and "cut out the middleman" is launching to the independent trade.

Lu Lin is available now from York-based tea importer LPV International and comprises two ranges. Everyday tea Daily Cup comes in green, black, oolong and Pu Erh (rsp: £11.95 for 250g), while there are 40 different teas under the Single Estate banner (£5.95 for 50g).

All the teas are sourced from small and medium-sized farmers, according to CEO Hans Verhoosel, who said the brand's quality would set it apart.
