A new Happy Cow organic dairy brand will arrive on the shelves of Sainsbury from Horizon Organic this month. The first product is a 250ml semi-skimmed or whole organic lunch box milk drink for children. Marketing director David Stacey said: "We believe our new product will help parents get their children to switch from sugary soft drinks to healthy organic milk from happy, healthy British cows produced in harmony with nature." Horizon Organic in the US has been preparing an assault on UK organics for the last year from its UK headquarters in Bristol. It acquired Rachel's Organic Dairy in Aberystwyth in 1999. Stacey said Horizon Organic plans to expand the UK organic market with a range of branded organic dairy launches over the next year. The company said organic drinking milk represents a third of the organic dairy market. {{P&P }}
