Jamaica’s bestselling fruit drink could go mainstream in the UK.
The Tropical Rhythms range - which this month gains a June Plum flavour containing lime and ginger - is sold in independents in areas with high ethnic populations. Distributor Ubevco is considering a push into the mainstream after carrying out research into its appeal among consumers. The range includes Sorrel Ginger, Pineapple Ginger and Reggae Medley. It comes in 475ml glass and 330ml PET bottles.
P&G has sold six of its Wella brands to the Lornamead Group, which has bought the UK brands Vosene shampoo and Bristows hairspray, the German shampoo brand Crisan, Spanish hair care brand Fixonia and Lanosan and Handsan skincare lines.
