Shares in Majestic Wine rose 9.25p to finish on 323.75p yesterday, following positive half-year results from the drink retailer.
Half-year pre-tax profit to 26 September rose 17% to £6.5m on sales up £7.6m to £88.3m. Like-for-like sales rose 6.2%.
Analysts were cheered by news that shoppers were buying more expensive bottles of wine from the retailer.
