Make Mine milk has hailed the success of its Stronger Together initiative, which uses celebrities to encourage kids to speak out against bullying.

A recent Twitter campaign, on 3 September, resulted in 22 celebrities - including X Factor star Amelia Lily - tweeting anti-bullying messages, reaching a combined audience of 13 million. The #strongertogether hashtag was mentioned 1,800 times, making it the top trending topic in the UK for the day.

Milk Marketing Forum chairman Sandy Wilkie said using social media was a key way to help improve the perception of milk among British teenagers.
