Makro has launched a range of own-label products sourced, developed and tested with its customers.

The range, which has the strapline 'Tested By Professionals', consists of more than 1,000 products, including pastas, salads, coleslaw, oils, soft drinks, tea and coffee. Six customers from the hotel, restaurant and catering sectors tested the range during development. Customers will also be able to give feedback on products.

"Our customers' recommendations are helping us improve the range before it hits the shelves, so they can be assured from its launch it is reliable, convenient and usable," said Kelly Hathway, own brand manager.
