The limited-edition all-white bottles, out now, let consumers add their own designs with the best in line to win a holiday.
The campaign, aimed at 18 to 24-year-olds, would increase the £23m brand's sales by more than 18%, said Chris Ellis, channel director for off-trade spirits at Pernod Ricard.
"Malibu has a strong track record of doing different things and this marks the firstever customisable spirits bottle in the UK off-trade," he said.
The group has made 90,000 of the bottles, which feature the brand's palm tree and sunset logo as a metallic shimmer and a 'Malibu By U' strapline.
Consumers can enter by buying a limited-edition bottle or creating a version on the spirit's website.
