Giovanni Rana is releasing a haggle of Italian mammas on to the streets to encourage trial of fresh pasta.

From next week, a promotional team dressed as traditional Italian mammas will visit Liverpool, London, Birmingham and Wolverhampton giving away full packs of the brand's ricotta & spinach tortelloni. The two-week push will be supported by press ads in consumer titles containing recipes for quick, tasty meals.

The brand returned to TV screens earlier this month as part of a four-week campaign.
