Hannah will pursue Edrington’s strategy to build the brand, having divested several non-core brands in April (The Grocer, April 19, p56).
Hannah was previously sales and marketing manager for golf and healthclub company Crownsports. He has also held brand management roles at Seagram UK and Diageo.
His move follows the appointment of Ian Curle as chief executive in May.
Hannah said: “There’s so much happening with the brand at the moment and the potential to spread its wings globally is huge.”
