Marks & Spencer has revealed plans to open a huge new flagship store in Leeds.
The 150,000 sq ft outlet will anchor an £800m leisure development, Eastgate Quarters, which will include more than 100 retail units, restaurants and bars, a hotel, office accommodation, up to 600 new homes and 2,700 associated car parking spaces.
The new store will boast a food hall with bakery, an M&S café and deli serving a selection of food and snacks and hot drinks, said M&S. It will also feature contemporary interior design and a full home offer.
Construction of Eastgate Quarters is set to begin next year with completion due by 2012.
